There are still several questions to answer regarding Maryland online sports betting, and it’s unclear when an official launch date will happen. Some hope that online sportsbooks can go live in 2022, but the launch could ultimately be delayed until 2023.

When online sports betting officially launches in Maryland, this is expected to be a competitive market full of solid online betting options. Some of the biggest names have already entered the state through partnerships, and they will be ready to go when this becomes a legal option.

Maryland Sports Betting Apps

Maryland sports betting apps could go live before the end of 2022. The state legalized sports betting in November 2020, but online sportsbooks have yet to launch.

Expected Maryland Sports Betting Apps

Barstool Sportsbook

The Barstool Sportsbook betting app will be available in Maryland as this company has already partnered with Hollywood Casino Perryville. Barstool is a mobile sportsbook that targets a younger generation of sports bettors as the Barstool personalities help run the mobile app.

BetMGM

The BetMGM app will be available in Maryland through the MGM National Harbor Casino. BetMGM has always been a huge name in the Nevada sports betting scene, but it has grown significantly throughout the United States. BetMGM is known for having a huge welcome bonus and great daily and weekly promotions.

BetRivers

The BetRivers mobile app has partnered with Bingo World, and that will create a path to online sports betting. BetRivers is a product of Rush Street Gaming, and that company has been aggressive as the United States has legalized online sports betting. BetRivers has a solid welcome bonus and features a long list of daily odds boosts.

Caesars Sportsbook

Caesars Sportsbook mobile betting has taken off over the last few years after this company purchased William Hill Sportsbook. Caesars already has a deal in place with the Horseshoe Casino, allowing it to apply for an online sports betting license. This company aims to have the biggest welcome bonus in the industry, and it features plenty of international betting options.

DraftKings Sportsbook

DraftKings is a company founded in nearby Boston, Massachusetts, and that should make it a leader in Maryland. DraftKings has also partnered with the Baltimore Ravens in Maryland, allowing it to offer retail betting at M&T Bank Stadium. This sportsbook has a massive welcome bonus and features terrific promotions for customers.

FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel will offer online sports betting in Maryland after partnering with Live! Casino and Hotel. It only makes sense that FanDuel would enter Maryland as this is one of the top sportsbooks in the United States. FanDuel is known for having competitive betting odds and lines and a terrific mobile app.

PointsBet

PointsBet Sportsbook is not from the United States as it is a company founded in Australia. It does have a headquarters in the U.S., and it has also partnered with the Riverboat on the Potomac in Maryland. Points betting sets this operator apart from the rest of the pack as that form of betting is exclusive to PointsBet.

Using Maryland Sports Betting Apps

The mobile sportsbook app and the desktop site will be extremely similar, but you can take the mobile app with you anywhere. With the desktop site, you will be stuck in just one location, but you will still see the same features.

Online sports betting originated with online sites, and companies still work extremely hard to make the online sites great for sports bettors. An advantage of using mobile sports betting apps is that some sportsbooks have special promotions and bonuses for app users.

Will The App Store Have Maryland Sports Betting Apps?

When you are looking to download a Maryland sports betting app for an iOS device, the App Store is the first place to look. You will find all of the available Maryland options available, and one simple click can get that mobile app loaded on your device.

Are Maryland Sports Betting Apps Available At The Google Play store?

You will find some sports betting apps on the Google Play store, but the entire list will not be available. The Google Play store doesn’t load all of the apps, but you can still download these by visiting the online sportsbook and clicking on the link provided.

Maryland Online Sports Betting Bonuses

One of the biggest perks of signing up for an online sports betting account in Maryland is the welcome bonuses available from each site. Of course, every online sportsbook will have its welcome offer, but it’s always a good offer.

Most online sportsbooks in Maryland will only offer a bonus after an initial deposit is made, and this is known as a deposit bonus. The two most common deposit bonuses include a first deposit match and a first bet rebate.

A first deposit match means that the money you deposit into a sportsbook will be matched in some way. For example, DraftKings Sportsbook has a 20% first deposit match up to $1,000, while BetRivers offers a 100% first deposit match up to $250.

A no-sweat bet acts as an insurance policy on the first bet you place at the online sportsbook, giving you peace of mind to bet big with your first wager. If your first bet loses at the online sportsbook, your account will be credited with sportsbook cash or a free bet.

FanDuel Sportsbook is a mobile app that offers a no-sweat bet worth up to $1,000.

Other online sportsbooks in Maryland will offer a free bet bonus, and those funds will show up in your account when you sign up. Free bets are a type of bonus that is usually available to both new bettors and loyal bettors at a site.

Texas Sports Betting Apps

Last Updated: April 8, 2024

Sports betting is still illegal in Texas, but there has been a recent push to get a bill passed to change the laws. A handful of bills were introduced in 2021, but there wasn’t enough support to get any of those passed.

The Sports Betting Alliance in Texas is made up of lawmakers and professional sports teams to help lobby lawmakers to push this issue. Unfortunately, nothing can be done in 2022 as legislative sessions only meet in odd years to attempt to pass a bill.

The 2022 election could impact Texas sports betting as some candidates are against legal sports betting. Texas will likely legalize the industry at some point, but nothing appears imminent.

Q&A

  • Can I bet on college sports in Texas? It’s unclear whether or not betting on college sports will be legal in Texas, as that will be a decision that is left up to the state. It is legal to wager on college sports in the United States, but some states have rules that limit this form of wagering.
  • Who can apply for a license to launch an online sportsbook app in Texas? Texas is expected to allow online-only sports betting licenses to be available, which means that any sports betting company will be eligible to apply for a license. However, there will likely be a limit on the number of licenses available, and there will also be an extensive application process.
  • Will the BetMGM Sportsbook app be available in Texas? If and when Texas sports betting is finally legal, you can expect BetMGM Sportsbook app to be one of the first options in the state. In addition, BetMGM just recently announced a partnership with the Houston Astros that will make them the official sports betting partner of the team.
  • Can I also bet on sports in person in Texas? Texas is not a state with casinos, so it’s unclear if retail sports betting will be available. Texas could allow betting at professional sports stadiums, but that will be a decision from lawmakers.
  • Are more sportsbook apps coming to Texas? If online sports betting in Texas launches, a wave of sportsbooks will likely be available right away. If Texas is similar to other sports betting markets, you will probably see additional sportsbooks launch later.

Texas Sports Betting Apps

Texas sports betting apps haven’t launched, as sports betting is currently illegal in the Lone Star State. If Texas does approve sports betting at some point, the state would immediately emerge as one of the largest sports wagering markets in the U.S.

Expected Online Sportsbooks in Texas

BetMGM

BetMGM Sportsbook has already made a move to enter the state of Texas as it has partnered with the Houston Astros. MGM Resorts International operates the BetMGM Sportsbook app, and it is one of the biggest names in the online sports betting industry.

Caesars Sportsbook

Caesars Sportsbook has always been a big name in Las Vegas, but the company has made a strong push throughout the United States. Caesars has a long list of international betting options available, which has helped this sportsbook stand out in a crowded market.

DraftKings Sportsbook

DraftKings should also be available in Texas as it continues to explore new opportunities throughout the United States. This company is still a massive name in the daily fantasy sports industry, but it has also placed a major focus on legal sports betting.

FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel is another major player in the DFS industry, but it’s also the online leader in sports betting throughout the United States. FanDuel Sportsbook would welcome the opportunity to launch its mobile app in a state the size of Texas.

PointsBet

PointsBet Sportsbook mobile betting is a unique experience as this operator has come up with a different way to bet on sports. Fixed-odds wagering is still an option at the site, but PointsBet also features points betting. PointsBet Sportsbook is a company based out of Australia, but it also has a headquarters in Denver, Colorado.

Using Texas Sports Betting Apps

Using a Texas mobile sportsbook app is extremely simple, and it’s also very convenient. The official Texas sports betting rules will describe how mobile betting in the state will look, but it’s expected to look similar to how it does in other parts of the country.

Texas Sports Betting Apps vs. Online Sites

Online sports betting comes in two forms as mobile apps are available, but sports bettors can also access online sportsbooks. The betting will be almost identical in both options, but there will be a different experience depending on how you are placing a wager.

Mobile apps will work on any mobile device, which means that you can place a bet from anywhere in the state. These mobile apps will also be the quickest way to bet on sports, as most will load quickly.

An online site will also have its advantage, but you will be limited to one specific location when hopping on a computer to place a bet. An advantage of using a computer or laptop is that the sportsbook will be easier to view as everything will be much larger.

Some sportsbooks will also have specific promotions or features on the mobile app that you won’t be able to find online.

Finding Texas Sports Betting Apps For an Apple iOS Device

The App Store will have all of the mobile betting apps for iOS devices, and you can find those by searching for the sportsbook. Then, you can begin the download, and you will install the mobile app directly onto your mobile device.

Does Google Play Store Have Texas Sports Betting Apps?

The top online sportsbooks in Texas will have a mobile app found on the Google Play Store for Android devices. You can do a quick search to find the app you are looking for, but you will have to make sure that you are loading the app created for Texas.

Best Texas Online Sports Betting Bonuses

When the online sports betting industry launches in Texas, each online sportsbook will have some welcome bonus for new customers. This welcome bonus could be a small offer, but most online sportsbooks are known for featuring a big sign-up bonus.

There are a couple of popular welcome bonuses, and specific sites are known for offering each type. For example, some sportsbooks will give out a bonus just for signing up, while others will require an initial deposit.

First Bet Insurance bet is a popular welcome bonus that is offered, and this is a way to place a bet without the risk of losing any money. For example, if your first wager at a sportsbook loses, you will receive a refund for the amount of the wager.

FanDuel Sportsbook mobile app has a $1,000 no-sweat bet offer for new customers. Other sites will offer a deposit match, which is another common bonus available for new customers.

DraftKings Sportsbook betting app has a 20% first deposit match up to $1,000 in most states, and that should be available in Texas as well. Other sportsbooks might offer a 100% first deposit match, up to a certain dollar amount.

Another popular bonus that you will see offered is a free bet just for signing up at a sportsbook. This is known as a no-deposit bonus, and the free bet will simply be waiting for you in your account when you log in for the first time.

California Sports Betting Apps

Last Updated: April 8, 2024

The path to legal sports betting in California has been messy, but there is some hope that lawmakers can pass a law in 2022. Several groups attempted to get a referendum passed on the November ballot, but that could ultimately create more questions than answers.

Lawmakers in California favor a model that would include both mobile and retail betting options. Native American tribes prefer to keep all betting at their tribal casinos, and card rooms are still trying to get into the action.

If and when California can legalize sports betting, this state could quickly become the biggest market in the United States. It seems likely that online sports betting will become legal, and there will be no shortage of options available.

Q&A

  • What types of bets will be available in California? Once the sports betting industry in California launches, it should look like the rest of the markets in the United States. There will be a long list of betting options available, but here is a list of betting types you should see: Moneyline, spread betting, totals betting, parlays, futures, props, and live betting.
  • Can I wager on college sporting events in California? California will have to decide on the legality of betting on college sporting events. This is a decision that every state across the country gets to make, and most states end up allowing wagering on college sporting events.
  • Will DraftKings offer sports betting in California? The DraftKings betting app will be expected in California if legal sports betting becomes an option. DraftKings is one of the biggest online operators globally, and it is usually the first to launch in states that pass a bill to legalize betting.
  • Is FanDuel expected to go live in California? The FanDuel app is another that should go live in California if this becomes a legal option. FanDuel is the online market leader in the United States, and it could easily find a partner to launch online sports betting in California.
  • Can I bet anonymously at California legal sportsbook apps? One rule that will be in place when California launches online sports betting is that you will have to create an account before you are eligible to place a wager. California Sports Betting Apps

California sports betting apps could launch within the next couple of years. For online sportsbooks to launch in the state, however, California voters would have to approve a sports betting initiative. At least two sports betting measures will appear on the November 2022 ballot in California.

List Of Potential California Sports Betting Apps

BetRivers

BetRivers is a product of Rush Street Gaming, and it’s another name that has a significant presence throughout the United States. The BetRivers mobile betting experience is similar to others throughout the country, but there is a bigger focus on daily promotions and odds boosts as this site. BetRivers also offers a massive welcome boost that features a 100% deposit match up to $250.

BetMGM

MGM Resorts International is one of the biggest names in the gaming industry, and the BetMGM mobile app is similarly viewed. BetMGM has emerged as one of the online market leaders in the U.S., and it features some of the best betting odds and lines in the industry.

Caesars Sportsbook

Caesars Sportsbook has been extremely aggressive over the last few years, especially with their takeover of William Hill Sportsbook. Caesars is known for having one of the best welcome bonuses in the industry, and it’s a sportsbook that always seems to come up with creative ideas. You will find a long list of U.S. and international betting options offered.

DraftKings Sportsbook

The DraftKings Sportsbook loyalty program is one of the best in the industry, and this site also offers competitive betting odds and lines. DraftKings has seamlessly been able to transition from a top DFS option to one of the best sportsbooks in the industry. DraftKings has daily and weekly promotions, and it also has a great welcome bonus.

FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel is another company that once dominated the DFS industry, but it has since become a leader in online sports betting. You will find a long list of betting options available at FanDuel Sportsbook, with some terrific promotions and bonuses.

PointsBet

The PointsBet mobile app is another name that has become popular and common throughout the United States, even though this is an Australian-based company. PointsBet is known for having terrific promotions for customers, and it also offers a unique betting opportunity. PointsBet offers points betting, which is a unique twist on sports wagering, and it is much different than a normal fixed odds wager.

How To Use California Sport Betting Apps

Using The Mobile App Vs. Desktop Site

When most people think of online sports betting, they refer to betting on a mobile app. This is because mobile apps are typically how most people wager on sports, but you can also place bets on a desktop site.

The biggest reason for using a mobile app is that you can then take that sportsbook with you anywhere. Placing a bet on a mobile app can be done from anywhere inside California after this becomes a legal option in the state.

A desktop site also has its advantages, especially when thinking about the screen size when viewing the betting options. Most mobile apps will mirror what you see on the desktop site, but that might not always be the case.

Can I Find California Sports Betting Apps Available In The Apple App Store?

California sportsbook apps will be available on the App store for those bettors using an iOS device to place wagers on sporting events. These can be found quickly by simply searching for the sportsbook, and then you will install the app on a device.

Will California Sportsbooks Be Available In The Google Play Store?

You can also find some of the California sportsbook apps on the Google Play store, but you might not be able to find the complete list of options. Some sportsbooks will instead provide a link to download the app on the desktop site, and then you can install that app on a phone or other mobile device.

Sports Betting Bonuses Expected At California Online Sportsbooks

When sports betting does launch in the state of California, then you will see plenty of welcome bonuses offered by the sports betting sites. These sports betting bonuses are offered to new customers to attract business.

There are generally two types of welcome bonuses available, and some different types are offered under each major category. It’s simply up to you to choose the welcome bonus that works best for you and the sportsbook that offers them.

Deposit Bonuses

A deposit bonus is the most common welcome offer you will find, as sportsbooks usually require you to deposit before a bonus is paid out. It usually takes a minimum $10 deposit to unlock the welcome bonus, but each site can create its requirements.

The sportsbooks offer two main deposit bonuses, and you will see both available in California when sports betting launches.

Deposit Match

A deposit match is a common type of deposit bonus that you will find, and this can come in many forms. For example, some sites will offer a first deposit match up to a specific dollar amount, while others will offer a percentage match on the initial deposit.

This bonus money will be available in your account, but you will have to use it when placing a wager before making a withdrawal. This can be offered as a free bet or be sportsbook cash.

First Bet Rebate

Another popular welcome bonus that sportsbooks offer is what is known as a first bet rebate. This is another offer that you will only unlock after a deposit is made, and you will need to use that deposit with this offer.

A first bet rebate serves as an insurance policy on your first wager, and you will receive a refund if that first bet loses at the sportsbooks. Each sportsbook will ensure your first bet up to a certain amount, and you will receive sportsbook cash or a free bet if that bet loses.

No Deposit Bonus

The other welcome bonus that you could see from a sportsbook is a no deposit bonus. With this offer, you don’t have to make a deposit to get the bonus, and it will be awarded as soon as you have completed the registration process.

The disadvantage of a no deposit bonus is that the bonus offer is typically smaller than what you would receive from a deposit bonus.

Free Bets

A free bet is usually the type of bonus you will receive with a no deposit bonus. Free bets are loaded into your account, and then you can use those free bets to place wagers at the sportsbook you have chosen.

A free bet is another type of bonus that you will find offered to returning customers as well, and these can be offered at random times.

Michigan Sports Betting Apps

Last Updated: April 8, 2024

Online sports betting in Michigan officially launched on January 22, 2021, but retail betting was available in the state in March 2020. In addition, Michigan launched online sports betting, online casino gambling, and online poker on the same day.

There are now 13 online sportsbook apps live in Michigan, and more could be on the way at some point. In addition, there are three commercial casinos and numerous tribal casinos that can all offer online betting or partner with a sportsbook.

Michigan has become one of the leaders in online sports betting in the United States, especially in the Midwest portion of the country. Even though there are just three commercial casinos in the state, sportsbook companies have been lining up to partner with Native American tribes.

Michigan’s online sports betting rules are favorable for both the online operators and the sports bettors. However, online-only licenses are not available in the state, meaning companies have to have an in-state partner before going live.

Michigan Online Sportsbooks

Barstool Sportsbook

The Barstool Sportsbook betting app launched after partnering with the Greektown Casino in Detroit. Barstool is a sportsbook that targets a younger generation of sports bettors as Barstool Sports personalities are featured on the site.

BetMGM

BetMGM is a massive name in the online sports betting industry as it is a part of the MGM Resorts International company. The MGM Grand Detroit is already in the state, and it was a simple process to launch online betting. One thing that makes BetMGM stand out is the long list of available bonuses and promotions.

BetRivers

BetRivers is a product of Rush Street Gaming, and it is offered in Michigan through a partnership with Little River Casino and Resort. BetRivers is a pretty big name in the sports betting industry, and it’s an online sportsbook known for having plenty of promotions.

Caesars Sportsbook

Caesars Sportsbook made a big move in the industry in 2021 by purchasing William Hill. That purchase allowed Caesars to enter Michigan through a partnership with the Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel. Caesars has the biggest welcome bonus in the industry and other exciting promotions.

DraftKings Sportsbook

DraftKings has a pair of partners in Michigan as it has deals in place with the Bay Mills Resort & Casino and the Kings Club Casino. DraftKings is one of the biggest names in the online sports betting industry, and it does nearly everything well.

FanDuel Sportsbook

FanDuel leads all other sportsbooks in the United States, and that includes the state of Michigan. FanDuel was able to ink a deal with the MotorCity Casino Hotel in Detroit to enter the state. FanDuel has some of the best odds in the industry and a long list of betting options.

FireKeepers Sportsbook

The FireKeepers Sportsbook first went live on July 12, 2021, and it is simply the online option of the FireKeepers Casino Hotel. This is a sportsbook that cannot compete with the biggest names in the industry.

Four Winds Sportsbook

There are three Four Winds Casino properties in the state, and they were able to launch online sports betting backed by Kambi. This Four Wins Sportsbook will not draw much betting action, but it’s still another sports betting option.

FOX Bet

FOX Bet is now in Michigan as well, and this sportsbook is king when it comes to the National Football League. FOX Sports helps power the sportsbook, and there are contests and promotions around the league. FOX Bet has partnered with the Odawa Casinos in Michigan to offer online sports betting.

How to Use Michigan Sports Betting Apps

Mobile App vs. Desktop Site

It doesn’t matter whether you are using the mobile app or desktop site to wager on sports in Michigan, as you will primarily get the same experience. However, there are some benefits to using the mobile app, with the most obvious being you can take a mobile app with you anywhere.

With a mobile app, you can fire up the sportsbook from anywhere in the state, and then you can quickly place bets. You can load a desktop site on a computer, but you are stuck in one location when trying to place a wager.

Mobile apps and the desktop site will look very similar, especially in how everything is laid out. You will be able to see everything better on the desktop site, but it might take longer to load.

The top sportsbooks will also offer unique promotions on the mobile app to entice customers to get all signed up.

Are Michigan Sports Betting Apps Available In The Apple App Store?

Apple sportsbook apps are available on the App Store, and you can see the rating of each app before deciding to download it. This is the easiest way to download the Apple app, as you will then install it directly on your phone.

Are Michigan Sports Betting Apps Available In The Google Play Store?

Michigan sportsbook apps will be available on the Google Play store, but you might not find every option. There is still an option to get the app for those sportsbook apps that you can’t find on the Google Play store.

Sportsbooks will also offer a link to download the apps on their sports betting site, and then you can install that app on a phone. This does add an additional step, but it’s still a relatively straightforward process.

Types of Michigan Online Sports Betting Bonuses

Deposit Bonus

A deposit bonus is the most common type of sports betting bonus you will find in the state, but this can come in a couple of different forms. This means that you will have to deposit before receiving any bonus.

Sportsbooks require a deposit before handing out an award to get you hooked on that website. Some deposit bonuses will need a promotional code, while others will be available.

Deposit Match

One of the most common types of deposit bonuses that you will find in Michigan is what is known as a deposit match. Sportsbooks that offer this type of bonus will all do it differently, but it always amounts to a pretty solid bonus offer.

Some of the top sites will offer a 100% match on your first deposit, while others will offer a lower percentage but a higher cap on the match. This extra money will be added to your account as either a free bet or simply sportsbook cash that you can use.

First Bet Rebate

Another common deposit bonus is what is known as a first bet rebate. This is not a deposit match, but it’s an insurance policy on the first wager you place at the site.

This falls under the deposit bonus category because you will have to deposit to make a wager. However, it’s not uncommon for sportsbook apps in Michigan to offer a first bet rebate worth up to $1,000.

No Deposit Bonus

A no deposit bonus is generally considered the best bonus offered from a sportsbook because there is no commitment needed on your part. This type of bonus is available to anyone that creates an account at the site, and you won’t need to enter any unique code.

There is typically only one type of bonus offered as a no deposit bonus, but each sportsbook can change up what they want to offer.

Free Bets

A free bet is generally the bonus you will get if you take advantage of a no deposit bonus. This free bet is loaded into your account after you have completed the registration process.

This bonus is usually smaller than a deposit bonus because you have not yet made any commitment to the site.

Ohio Sports Betting Apps

Last Updated: April 8, 2024

Ohio sports betting apps haven’t launched yet, but that could change as early as Fall 2022. Lawmakers in Ohio were able to pass a sports betting bill, and Governor Mike DeWine signed that.

According to the law, the sports betting industry has to launch by January 1, 2023, but the state is gearing up for an earlier launch. When it finally goes live, Ohio could become a massive sports betting market, and both online and retail sports betting will be available.

The online sports betting licenses will be reserved for partners of the professional sports teams, casinos, and racinos in the state. As many as 25 online sportsbooks can launch from the beginning, but that number could double over time.

Each casino and sports team can apply for a second online skin after proving that it would be financially beneficial to the state. This will likely be a slow process after the initial wave of sportsbooks launch.

Ohio Sports Betting Apps

Ohio sports betting apps haven’t launched yet, but that will change by January 1, 2023. Ohio stands to emerge into a massive sports betting market, and both online and retail sports betting will be available.

Potential Ohio Sports Betting Apps

When Ohio finally launches online sports betting, there will be plenty of sportsbooks lining up to enter the state. Of course, it’s impossible to know every sportsbook coming to Ohio, but the following sportsbooks should get the first crack at partnering with a casino or professional team.

Bally Bet

Bally Bet mobile betting will be an option in Ohio as this sportsbook already has a partner. The Cleveland Browns partnered with Bally Bet, and it will become an official sports betting partner of the NFL team.

Barstool

Barstool Sportsbook has expanded throughout the United States, and Ohio will likely be one of the next targets. Penn National Gaming is behind the Barstool Sportsbook, and it has deals with casinos throughout the country.

BetMGM

When sports betting launches in Ohio, you can expect to see BetMGM offer mobile betting right away. The MGM Northfield Park is already operating in Ohio, and that casino will allow BetMGM to launch without any issue.

Caesars

Caesars will be an online sports betting option in Ohio as it already owns Eldorado Gaming Scioto Downs. The application process will still have to occur, but Caesars should be one of the first to launch.

DraftKings

The DraftKings app is already available in Ohio, but it currently only offers DFS options. It won’t take much work for DraftKings to add sports betting to the app, which has been done in several other states. DraftKings will have to find a partner before going live in Ohio.

FanDuel

FanDuel is another company that already has DFS games in Ohio, and it will be adding online sports betting at some point. You should expect FanDuel to reach a deal with a professional sports team, as that is what they have done in other states.

FOX Bet

FOX Bet is one of the newest online sports betting options to enter the market, and Ohio is a perfect target. FOX Sports back FOX Bet, and the two NFL teams in Ohio will make this a top target of the sportsbook.

Hard Rock

Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is a popular destination in Ohio, and that casino will be able to offer online sports betting. The Hard Rock Sportsbook is not as big as others on this list, but it should be a legal option in Ohio.

How to Use Ohio Sports Betting Apps

Ohio Sports Betting Apps vs. Online Sportsbooks

A mobile app is essentially a smaller version of an online sportsbook, but it also comes with plenty of benefits. Perhaps the most significant advantage is that you can take a mobile app anywhere, and you don’t have to have a computer to log in.

The experience with a mobile app will generally be faster, and some sportsbooks will even have specific bonuses available for mobile customers. For example, viewing an online sportsbook allows more to be on the page, but the sites could load slower than the mobile app.

Are Ohio Sports Betting Apps Available In The App store?

Yes, you will be able to find Ohio sportsbooks in the Apple App store once this industry launches. Typically you can download the app a couple of days before launch, but you won’t be able to place any wagers until it goes live.

The App Store should load the Ohio sports betting app based on your location, but you will want to ensure that you have the right sportsbook.

Are Ohio Sports Betting Apps Available In The Google Play store?

Some Ohio sportsbooks will be available in the Google Play store, while others will not. For the sportsbooks that aren’t available, you should be able to find a link to download that app on the sportsbook’s website.

There isn’t much difference between an Apple app and an Android app, and the odds will always be the same at each sportsbook.

Bonuses At Ohio Sports Betting Apps

Since Ohio will be such a competitive sports betting market, there should be some terrific sports betting bonuses available to new customers. However, when it comes to online sports betting bonuses, there will be plenty of different options that you can find.

A sports betting bonus is offered by sportsbooks to attract customers, which turns into a big competition between each option. These bonuses are usually offered for new customers, but you will also find some for returning customers.

Some sports betting bonuses require a promo code, while others are available to all new customers in that state. So before searching for an online sportsbook in Ohio, it’s a good idea to understand the difference in the bonuses.

Deposit Bonus

A deposit bonus is a type of offer that is only unlocked after an initial deposit is made at the sportsbook. Deposit bonuses can come in a few different forms, but you will have to take action before getting any bonus from the site.

It’s common to see a minimum deposit of $10 required to take advantage of a promotion, but the offer usually gets better with the more money you deposit.

No-Deposit Bonus

A no-deposit bonus is the opposite of a deposit bonus, as this is just given out as soon as an account is created. A no-deposit bonus is usually in the form of free bets, and the offer is typically smaller than what you would receive after making a deposit.

A no-deposit bonus is also usually added on top of the deposit bonus.

Deposit Match

One of the most common types of deposit bonuses is what is called a first deposit match. This means that the sportsbook will match your first deposit amount, but it might not be a 100% match.

The additional money is then placed into your account as sportsbook cash or simply free bets. You will have to wager that amount of cash before looking to make a withdrawal.

First Bet Rebate

A first bet rebate is another popular deposit bonus offered by sportsbooks in the state of Ohio. Some of the top sportsbooks will have this as an option, and it could be worth $1,000 or more.

With a first bet rebate, it serves as an insurance policy on your first wager at the site. If that initial wager loses, you will receive a refund for that amount at the sportsbook.

Tennessee launched its first legal sports betting apps on November 1, 2020. This marked the end of a lengthy implementation process that started in July 2019. The state legislature passed HB1, and Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced it into law without his signature.

Four sportsbook operators were ready for the launch date: DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and Action247. More sports betting apps followed soon after, including William Hill, TwinSpires, and WynnBET. If you live in Tennessee or you’re just visiting the state, you can bet legally using your desktop or mobile device from anywhere in the Volunteer State.

With no limit on the number of operator licenses the state can issue, more TN sportsbook apps are launching soon. Because of that, be sure to bookmark this page and check it regularly to stay up to date with Tennessee’s latest sportsbooks and promotions.

Legal Sports Betting in Tennessee

In most US states where betting is legal, they offer sports betting online and in-person at physical sportsbooks. Tennessee is unique, as it only allows online and mobile sports betting. This setup eliminates the in-person registration that is required in some states. Consequently, there’s no need for TN sports bettors to visit a physical location to sign up.

Also, you do not need to be a TN resident to enjoy Tennessee sportsbook apps. You only need to be over the age of 21 and located within Tennessee’s borders to sign up and place wagers from anywhere within the state.

A TN sports betting operator license costs $750,000 annually and there’s a 20% GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) operator tax rate. However, there’s no limit to the number of licenses permitted in the state. Also, operators do not have to partner with a land-based casino. These two factors make Tennessee attractive to sportsbooks, but the state’s requirement for operators to hold at least 10% of all betting handle hold (compared to the national average of 7.5%) has proven controversial.

Tennessee Sports Betting Apps

Four operators were ready to go live at the launch date back in November, with DraftKings, BetMGM, and FanDuel being first and Action247 following a few hours later. William Hill and TwinSpires followed in March 2021, and WynnBET became the seventh in April 2021.

Tennessee Mobile Sports Betting

Online sports betting technology evolved rapidly in recent years. This lets Tennessee bettors enjoy fast, efficient, and easy access to sports markets. In addition, they built all Tennessee betting sites with HTML5 technology, which helps to make them fully responsive for mobile web browsing.

You can access TN sportsbooks on your PC, Mac, or mobile device. This includes Android and iOS smartphones and tablets as well as Windows Phone devices. Besides minor changes to some keys, functions, and design tweaks, Tennessee sportsbook apps offer a seamless betting experience across desktop and mobile devices. As a result, you can use the same account credentials on multiple devices to access the full range of betting markets and services.

Tennessee Mobile Betting Apps

While many TN sportsbook customers prefer using the mobile browser client, Tennessee betting operators also offer a mobile app to install on iOS and Android devices. There are multiple benefits for sportsbook users to download a sports betting app, some of which include:

  • Faster connectivity
  • No need to browse
  • A complete mobile experience
  • Instant notification of events, promotions, and scores

Of course, downloading and installing an app will not be suitable for everyone. As with any app, sports betting apps will use device memory and processing power. However, with mobile devices constantly evolving to have more memory and processing speed, more Tennessee players turn to sportsbook apps.

Downloading Sports Betting Apps In Tennessee

You can find most Tennessee sports betting apps through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for iOS and Android devices respectively.

However, as some newer betting apps may not be available through these stores, it is easy to find links to download and install directly from the sportsbook’s mobile site. The best way to find the right TN sportsbook app for you is by visiting our offers pages. Here, you can compare the pros and cons of every betting app in the Volunteer State.

Betting On Tennessee Sports

Sports fans in Tennessee have access to a wide range of sports markets through the aforementioned sportsbook apps. You can bet on the world’s most popular sports, which includes soccer, motorsports, golf, boxing, rugby, MMA, and tennis. Of course, NCAA sports and professional leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA) are offered as well.

Tennessee has many professional and college sports teams to bet on. The state is home to several high-profile sports franchises across major leagues. This includes the Tennessee Titans (NFL), the Memphis Grizzlies (NBA), and the Nashville Predators (NHL). College sports are represented by major universities like the Vanderbilt Commodores and Tennessee Volunteers.

Tennessee NFL Betting

The Tennessee Titans are the state’s one and only NFL franchise. There’s no need for more with Derrick Henry, AJ Brown, and Julio Jones leading the charge for the boys in blue. The team was born when the Houston Oilers franchise moved in 1997. They were known as the Tennessee Oilers before changing their name to the Titans in 1999. The Titans had a single Super Bowl appearance in 2000, where they lost to the St. Louis Rams. The Titans proudly own three AFC South Divisional titles, and they are on a mission for more.

Football is the biggest market for sports betting because of the long and elaborate nature of the game. Tennessee sportsbook apps offer many types of exciting bets on football including moneyline, totals, player props, game props, and parlay bets. You can even place future bets on League MVPs, Division Champions, and Super Bowl winners.

There’s no better time than now to bet on the Titans. Whether it is prop bets on player rushing yards or future bets on Super Bowl odds. The Titans have plenty of talent, so Tennessee’s Super Bowl odds are among the top five NFL teams.

What’s the best time to bet on Tennessee football?

If you are a football bettor in the Volunteer State, get ready to place bets when the season kicks off in September. Football is easily the most popular sport in Tennessee, and it’s important to think about the best time to place your bets. As a result, September is usually the busiest and most profitable betting month of the year. In fact, online and mobile betting operators generated record profits in September for six years in a row. On top of that, their betting handle in September has been more than October and November combined.

Sports bettors don’t have many wagering options in July and August, so they are usually eager to place bets when football starts in September. Consequently, this timeframe becomes important for Tennessee football bettors, as odds can and promotions can change due to demand. Because of this, it’s wise to plan ahead and check our offers pages during summer. Many TN sports betting apps feature generous promotions in anticipation of college and pro football kickoffs in September.

Tennessee NBA Betting

The Memphis Grizzlies represent the state of Tennessee in the NBA. Originally the Vancouver Grizzlies, the franchise relocated to Memphis in 2001. The Grizzlies are the only professional sports team based in Memphis, and they play home games at the FedEx Forum.

One of the smaller teams in the NBA, the Grizzlies have struggled to make an impact over the years. Still, they can draw on plenty of local fans from Tennessee and surrounding states like Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Missouri, which don’t have their own NBA teams.

However, sports fans crossing state lines for allegiances isn’t a one-way street. Many Tennessee basketball fans follow and place bets on Georgia’s Atlanta Hawks and North Carolina’s Charlotte Hornets. With propositions, futures, moneylines, and parlays, NBA is a vast betting market for Tennessee bettors. There’s tremendous popularity surrounding in-play betting as well.

Tennessee MLB Betting

There is currently no Major League Baseball team in Tennessee. The Tennessee Smokies, who play in Kodak, TN, represent the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs.

The city of Nashville is a much bigger MLB market than many neighboring cities that boast franchises. The Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and St Louis Cardinals all have prominent fan bases in Tennessee. As baseball can often be a low-score game, sportsbooks offer unique run line bets in addition to the other popular wager types.

Tennessee NHL Betting

Many locals consider the Nashville Predators to be the most successful and high-profile sports franchise in Tennessee. The Predators play their home games at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The Predators haven’t won a Stanley Cup, but they have become a dominant force in the NHL. Nashville won the Conference Championship in 2017 and back-to-back Divisional titles in 2018 and 2019. There is some support for the North Carolina Hurricanes in eastern Tennessee, but the Predators are the main draw.

The Predators are the heart and soul of Nashville, and hockey fans within the state are ecstatic about the prospect of placing wagers on their beloved squad. TN sportsbook apps offer a wide range of bets on hockey, including props, future predictions, and parlays. NHL in Tennessee has become popular through puck line wagers, which are an exciting combination of moneyline and spread betting.

Tennessee College And High School Betting

One of the most significant objections to sports betting legalization in Tennessee was that it might affect college and high school sports integrity. Like in many other states, Tennessee has strict rules on betting in these events.

Tennessee sportsbooks are not permitted to offer any betting on high school sports, and they are not allowed to offer in-game prop bets on college events. Additionally, no wagering on individual player props in college sports events is allowed.

Tennessee Major Sports Betting Partnerships

In the past, major US sports leagues were categorically opposing sports betting. That attitude has changed dramatically over the last few years with the legalization of betting across numerous states. Nowadays, sports teams and stadiums all over the US have been striking partnerships with sportsbooks, and Tennessee is no exception.

The Tennessee Titans and BetMGM secured one of the biggest promotional deals that many sportsbooks were after. The deal makes BetMGM the Titans official sponsor, including co-marketing on promotional materials and Titans game broadcasts.

BetMGM’s TN rival betting company, FanDuel, has signed up with another one of the state’s major league franchises: the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies. FanDuel is the Grizzlies’ official betting partner and has the right to use the Grizzlies logo in its promotions. FanDuel will also be a visible broadcasting partner and presenting sponsor in all home and away Grizzlies games.

As expected from another Tennessee betting giant, DraftKings Sportsbook has partnered with NHL’s Nashville Predators in a multi-year sponsorship deal. DraftKings TN is the sponsor of the Bridgestone Arena and serves as Predators official sports betting and DFS partner.

Sports Betting Bonuses Available In Tennessee

The Tennessee sports betting market is very competitive, requiring sportsbooks to work hard to attract and retain customers. One of the most popular ways is by offering bonuses to entice new users. These generous bonuses come in many forms.

  • Welcome Offer: One of the most common bonuses offered by TN sportsbooks, a welcome offer can be anything from a free bet to a deposit match bonus. They are usually restricted to new customers only.
  • Sign-Up Bonus: New customers are awarded a sign-up bonus simply for opening a new account with a sportsbook. Sportsbooks usually credit the bonus straight to your account after signing up, regardless of whether you make a deposit.
  • Deposit Bonus: The most common welcome offer comes as a deposit bonus. Sportsbooks usually credit this bonus as a match on your first deposit.
  • Risk-Free Bets: As its name suggests, a risk-free bet is a wager that you can use on specific markets and betting types without risking any of your own money. The sportsbook operator will cover your losses up to a certain amount if your bets are unsuccessful.
  • Parlay Insurance: Betting parlays can return big prizes for small stakes, but it can be frustrating when your parlay comes up one leg short. Parlay insurance will refund your entry if one of your parlay legs doesn’t win.
  • Odds Boost: An odds boost increases the odds of one or more bets. Some Tennessee sportsbooks allow you to use odds boosts regularly, while others restrict the offer to particular times and events.
  • Event Bonus: Sportsbooks rely on big sports events to gain new customers and strengthen loyalty. For this reason, they often provide bonuses like free bets, odds boosts, and deposit bonuses for those customers who bet on certain events. This usually happens for major events such as the Super Bowl, NCAA Bowl Games, NBA Finals, and MLB World Series.
  • Loyalty Rewards: Loyalty rewards programs are available at most Tennessee sportsbooks. They usually award bettors with points for every wager placed on the sportsbook app. You can exchange these points for exclusive bonuses, gifts, or other perks.

Tennessee Sports Betting Safety and Trustworthiness

You may wonder why there was a long delay between passing Tennessee’s sports betting legislation (July 2019) and the actual launch in November 2020. This was due to regulatory bodies taking time to cement regulations over the sports betting sector.

The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation (TELC) adopted those regulations to govern sports betting in Tennessee. The TELC provides oversight on legal wagering in the state and ensuring that all operators abide by the rules.

To obtain a sportsbook operator license in Tennessee, applicants have to meet a long list of requirements. They are subject to ongoing checks covering a range of areas from data security to fairness. The TELC has also shown that it will act when required. One of the state’s operators, Action247, had its license suspended when an investigation found that it had not met its obligations on preventing money laundering.

One of the essential regulations applied to Tennessee betting operators requires them to maintain ring-fenced accounts for player winnings. Doing so ensures that they can always pay out winnings, even if the sportsbook experiences operational difficulties.

Tennessee Sports Betting FAQs

Sports betting is a relatively new experience for many US players, and newcomers often have questions about how the industry in Tennessee operates. Here we address five of the most common queries about the Tennessee sports betting sector:

What kinds of sports bets are legal in Tennessee?

Most sports bets are legal in Tennessee, except for some restrictions on college sports and betting on high-school sports, which is strictly prohibited. You can find in Tennessee sportsbooks moneylines, spreads, futures, props, in-play betting, and parlays. In addition to major US sports, Tennessee sportsbooks offer markets on sports ranging from international soccer and rugby to athletics and Olympics

Can I bet on college sports in Tennessee?

Yes, you can bet on college sports in Tennessee, but with certain restrictions. For example, prop bets are not allowed for college sports. In fact, you cannot bet on individual collegiate athletes in any form. You can only bet on teams. Needless to say, it is strictly prohibited to bet on high school sports.

Can I also bet on sports in person in Tennessee?

You cannot bet in person in Tennessee. Online betting through mobile apps is the only way to place wagers in Tennessee. As the state does not have any land-based sportsbooks, TN doesn’t require on-site registration to sports betting sites and apps.

Will they tax my winnings in Tennessee?

No. The authorities in Tennessee do not regard winnings from sports betting as taxable, so they will not directly tax your winnings through mobile betting sportsbooks. However, if you win more than $5,000 in a year, you may be subject to federal taxation. Please refer to a professional tax consultant for further guidance.

How do I make a complaint with a legal sportsbook app in Tennessee?

The starting point for raising a complaint with a legal sportsbook in Tennessee is to contact the operator directly. You can reach support through email, live chat, or phone. In most cases, the trained customer support staff will help you resolve issues. If you still cannot resolve your complaint, you can directly contact the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation (TELC), the regulating body of betting in the state.

Colorado is not only home to famous major league franchises like the Denver Broncos and the Denver Nuggets, it’s also the 19th US state to legalize sports betting. Sports fans in Colorado now have the chance to place bets safely and legally in person or on their mobile device.

In November 2019, Colorado voters passed Proposition DD by a slim margin of around 20,000 votes. This effectively legalized sports betting in the Centennial State.

A few months later, the first regulated sports betting apps went live in Colorado. This includes name-brand operators like DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and BetRivers, who all opened their virtual doors on May 1, 2020. Currently, over two dozen operators offer retail and mobile betting in the state.

Colorado has 31 commercial casinos, all located within three small towns in the Rocky Mountains:

  • Century City

Every commercial and tribal casino operator can apply for a sports betting license to operate both a retail and mobile sportsbook. This allows local casinos to form strategic partnerships with the best sports betting brands, technologies, and expertise.

Betting in Colorado doesn’t require you to be a resident of the state. As long as you are over the age of 21 and within CO borders, you can visit any retail sportsbook or use a sports betting app. Betting in Colorado is safe, fun, and 100% legal.

How To Bet On Sports In Colorado

Colorado Betting Websites

Most Colorado sportsbooks offer both desktop and mobile versions. This means you can easily access sportsbook websites using an internet browser from a computer, iOS, or Android device.

HTML5 technology makes this flexibility possible. It ultimately powers sports betting websites to optimize them for smartphones and mobile tablets. Mobile sportsbook versions offer mobile-friendly designs with condensed menus and visible keys for smaller screens. The user interface provides a seamless experience across desktop and mobile devices.

While most players turn to their smartphones for placing bets, some enjoy using a computer and mobile device interchangeably.

Whether you are betting at home or on your mobile device, you are never far away from your favorite Colorado sportsbook.

Colorado Mobile Betting Apps

Most Colorado sportsbooks offer a mobile app for an immersive online betting experience. Mobile betting apps usually provide better connectivity, superior design, and easier navigation. In addition, you can set the app to send notifications about upcoming events, promotions, statistics, and bet results.

In most cases, you can find links to download these apps on the sportsbook’s website. You can also search for them in the App Store and Google Play Store. Some newer apps may not be available on app stores, so the best way to find a Colorado sports betting app is to visit our offers page.

Betting On Colorado’s Sports Teams

With over 5.8 million people, Colorado has plenty of sports fans rooting for some of the most successful major league teams.

But beyond bets on the state’s great representatives in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL, Colorado sports betting apps allow you to bet on college sports, ranging from athletics and rowing to more mainstream NCAA sports like football and basketball. If you are looking for different sports to bet on, Colorado sportsbooks also offer bets on tennis, golf, US and world soccer, motorsports, darts, rugby, and even the Olympics.

Whether you are an experienced bettor or just exploring Colorado’s sports betting apps, you will surely look to back a few of the state’s home teams.

Colorado NFL Betting

Colorado is home to one of the greatest NFL teams, the Denver Broncos. The Broncos play in the AFC West division, winning three Super Bowls, eight AFC Championships, and fifteen Division Championships. They play their home games in Denver, CO at Empower Field at Mile High.

We know bettors love the excitement of NFL games. As a result, plenty of wagering opportunities emerge. For example, you can make a prop bet on a player and/or individual team. You can also bet live on game touchdowns or interceptions. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. Of course, you can also place traditional wagers like moneyline, spread, and totals.

Colorado NBA Betting

Professional basketball has a massive following in the Centennial state, as the Denver Nuggets provide Colorado basketball fans with tons of excitement. They were founded as the Denver Rockets in 1967, changing their name to the Denver Nuggets in 1974. Currently, the Nuggets are part of the Northwest Division of the NBA’s Western Conference.

Because of its fast pace, basketball provides exciting betting opportunities. You can place bets on regular-season, playoff, and even preseason games. NBA matchups present several live betting opportunities as well. Going even further, you can place bets on NBA futures like Conference Champions, League MVP, and Rookie of the Year.

Colorado MLB Betting

The Colorado Rockies are one of the most consistent teams in Major League Baseball since their induction to the league in 1993. The Rockies even clinched a ticket to the World Series in 2007, but sadly lost to the Boston Red Sox. They play their home baseball games at Coors Field in Denver’s Lower Downtown area.

Whether through bookies or on friendly terms in the office, betting has always been a part of baseball tradition. Bettors can legally place their wagers on all MLB games with popular bets, including future bets on pennant winners, moneyline, run line, and totals.

Colorado NHL Betting

Hockey fans also have an NHL team to support, the Colorado Avalanche, commonly known by locals as the ‘Avs.’ Founded in 1972 as the Quebec Nordiques, the Avs moved to Colorado in 1995 and made Denver their home. The Avs share their home ground, the Ball Arena, with NBA’s Denver Nuggets. Since moving to Denver, they have won two Stanley Cups.

Colorado sportsbook apps offer NHL wagers on teams to qualify for the Division Championships, Stanley Cup, and President’s Trophy. You can also find spreads, bets on players-to-score during the match, first-player-to-score, and penalties.

Colorado College Betting

Both NCAA basketball and football have representation in Colorado, mainly through the University of Colorado Buffaloes. While Colorado allows betting on college sports, prop bets are forbidden when it comes to NCAA contests. However, you can still bet the spread, moneyline, and totals of these college games.

More Favorite Sports Betting In Colorado

In a surprise turn of events, one of the popular sports to bet on in Colorado is none other than table tennis. Back in January 2021, the state reported $11.8 million worth of wagers on ping pong. That was more than CO sportsbooks generated on college football bowl games. It was also more than wagers placed on the NHL. Table tennis kept going strong through March with $8.8 million. Similarly, it came through with $8.96 million in April. That’s more than double the amount bet on MMA through the same timeframe!

Table tennis soared to popularity during the COVID shutdown in 2020, and while many expected the craze to die down, it hasn’t. The main pull for many bettors seems to be the volatility and speed of the games. In fact, many people compare it to playing slots. Matches start every 15 minutes, and there’s usually a healthy slate every day.

Russia hosts the majority of these table tennis matches, so there’s a time difference and language barrier. Bettors are convinced the matches aren’t fixed despite internet rumblings. Some sportsbooks are worried about the rising popularity of table tennis on their platforms. However, there’s certainly a demand for it, especially in Colorado.

Bets Not Allowed In Colorado

There are a few types of wagers that are not allowed in Colorado. Like many other states where sports betting is legal, Colorado regulators prohibit betting on high school sports.

The state also doesn’t allow betting on video game competitions unless an official sport governing body supervises it. There are still debates surrounding these events, so many eSports’ fans are watching closely to see how things evolve.

Colorado Sports Betting Bonuses

With so many of the country’s leading sportsbook operators live in the state, competition in Colorado is intense. This is splendid news for bettors, as sports betting apps offer generous bonuses to entice new customers and keep existing ones. Here are a few of the popular bonuses offered on Colorado’s sports betting apps:

  • No-Deposit Bonus: As the name suggests, this bonus allows people to test the sportsbook without depositing their own money. A no-deposit bonus can come as free money added to the sportsbook account balance or free bets on specific events.
  • Deposit Bonus: A deposit bonus will require a customer to deposit their own money first, and then the sportsbook will match the amount deposited with bonus dollars. Usually, it is a 100% match, which means players can double their betting money up to a certain amount.
  • First Bet Rebate: In this case, the sportsbook will cover losing bets up to a certain amount. Usually, this offer will include specific types of bets on certain events.
  • Odds Boost: An offer in which the sportsbook increases the odds on specific sporting events or markets to make the wager more attractive to bettors.
  • Cashback: A cashback is a promotion that awards players’ cash against their spending on the sports betting app. In most cases, players will collect points for every $1 they spend. They can eventually redeem these points for cash.
  • Loyalty Rewards: Most sportsbooks run a loyalty program to reward their returning players. Loyalty points are awarded for bets, which count towards a VIP system that entitles them to benefits such as exclusive bonuses, personalized gifts, and private customer support.

Colorado Sports Betting Trust And Safety

The Colorado Division of Gaming, which sets the strict rules and regulatory framework, licenses sports betting operators in Colorado. For further accountability and safety, the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission is in place to regulate policy. This is a five-member regulatory board set by the Colorado governor.

It includes a corporate manager, an attorney with experience in regulatory law, one registered voter, one law enforcement official, and a Certified Public Accountant with corporate finance knowledge. Because of this, it’s safe to say that all bases are covered when it comes to regulations that ensure trust and safety in Colorado.

Every legal sports betting site in Colorado must operate under the Master License of one of the state’s casinos. So when you access a sportsbook’s website or app, two regulated entities protect bettors: 1) the brick-and-mortar casino license holder in the state. 2) the sportsbook operating partner.

All sites must comply with the latest SSL encryption protocols, so your personal and financial information is always safe. For added protection, every sportsbook must offer a privacy policy that regulates the use of customer data and forbids sharing customer information with third parties without consent.

CO Sportsbook App Withdrawals

Colorado sportsbooks follow strict withdrawal protocols that allow you to cash out quickly and easily. To make a withdrawal, visit the sportsbook’s encrypted cashier section which you can access through either the website or mobile app.

Go to the withdrawal section, select the payment method you would like to use, and follow the quick and simple steps to complete the transaction. Processing times will depend on the payment method you select, ranging from instant withdrawals for e-wallets and up to a few business days for bank transfers.

Some payment methods will only allow making a withdrawal if it was used to make a deposit as well, and some also involve transaction fees. It is best to always check the terms and conditions for the withdrawal method you might use before making a deposit at a Colorado sportsbook.

Before cashing out for the first time, you need to verify your account by providing copies of documents such as a photo ID and proof of address (such as a utility bill). This is usually a fast and painless process. Making things even easier, most Colorado sports betting sites and apps have a dedicated section where customers can upload their documents to be verified the same day.

Pennsylvania sports betting launched in 2018 after New Jersey won a lengthy legal battle in the Supreme Court. This resulted in the overturning of PASPA, which prevented states from regulating sports betting within their borders.

Shortly thereafter, Pennsylvania allowed legal sports betting through HB71. Online sports betting apps like DraftKings, BetRivers, and FanDuel quickly entered this new market. Currently, Pennsylvania has ten sports betting apps to choose from. That number could grow, as several more are seeking a license to start operations.

Users from all states are welcome to sign up and place bets with sports betting operators in Pennsylvania. However, to make real money bets, players must be physically present within the borders of the Keystone State.

They track each player’s location via geolocation tracking software, ensuring only players within the PA borders are making bets in compliance with the law. Users must also be 21 years old to sign up and make wagers with PA sports betting apps.

Ever since sports betting apps in Pennsylvania became legal in 2018, it has been the responsibility of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to monitor their operation and ensure they are offering services by the highest standard.

Each PA sportsbook must undergo a rigorous licensing process, which includes financial and technical audits. They repeat these audits occasionally to ensure that the operators are maintaining high standards of operation.

To further protect player stakes, each sportsbook must keep all player funds in ring-fenced accounts to protect funds. This ensures that payouts happen smoothly without liquidity problems. Users can also be sure that their private information is safe with state-of-the-art encryptions and firewalls used to maintain the privacy and security of all users.

Every betting operator in Pennsylvania must partner with a government-licensed brick-and-mortar casino or racetrack to ensure local standards and accountability.

This means that you are never dealing with a no-name, off-shore company, and there is always a local company to handle any issues that may arise. In addition, partnerships with local casinos enable players to visit the casino in person and get paid out in cash at the casino cage.

Indiana launched its first regulated sportsbooks ahead of the NFL season in early September 2019. Three of the state’s casinos (Indiana Grand Casino, Ameristar Casino, and Hollywood Casino) took in-person wagers on the first day retail sportsbook venues could operate.

Online sports betting went live on October 3, 2019. DraftKings and BetRivers were among the first Indiana legal sportsbook apps to launch. The second round featured 10 more licensed IN sports betting apps. Additional operators will hit the market soon.

Today, Indiana’s betting industry is booming. The state’s sports betting handle already generated more than $1 billion in the first four months of 2021.

You don’t have to be an Indiana resident to use the state’s regulated sportsbook sites and apps. You can sign up and place bets from anywhere in the state as long as you are over 21. The Indiana Gaming Commission regulates every IN sports betting operator, so you can be sure that betting is safe, fair, and 100% legal.

If you’d like to access a licensed Indiana sportsbook through multiple devices, you won’t have to learn your way around a new sportsbook layout every time. Except for minor changes to make the mobile version more usable, such as stacked menus, larger keys, and smaller graphics, the sites are essentially the same.

Whichever device you choose, you can log in using the same account details and enjoy a seamless betting experience across computers, smartphones, and mobile tablets.

Indiana Sportsbook Apps

All IN sportsbooks offer a mobile site that provides a fantastic browser-based sports betting experience. But if you plan to use your mobile phone or tablet for betting in Indiana, download an Indiana sportsbook app.

A sports betting app makes wagering much more accessible and offers better connectivity and usability. Apps also let you turn on push notifications, so you’ll never miss out on a promotion or must-see sporting event again.

To download an Indiana sportsbook app to your iOS or Android device, go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, respectively. Betting On Indiana Sports

No matter what’s your favorite sport, you’ll be happy with the betting markets available on Indiana sportsbook apps. According to the Indiana Gaming Commission, everything from football and hockey to golf and boxing is available to bet on in the Hoosier State.

Sports markets include powerhouses like the NFL, MLB, NHL, and many international sports. Being home to several of the country’s favorite sports teams, Indiana offers sports fans great opportunities to bet on home and away teams.

Indiana NFL Betting

As football is the most popular sport in the US, it’s no wonder the NFL is one of Indiana’s leading sports leagues to wager on. Adding to the excitement is the state’s Indianapolis Colts football team, which plays its home games at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Using Indiana sports betting apps, you can place moneyline, spread, over/under, and parlay wagers on all football games. In-play bets are huge amongst NFL bettors because of the long duration and strategic nature of the game. Future bets are also popular, including predicting the winner of the Super Bowl and other major championships.

Indiana NBA Betting

With the Indiana Pacers playing in beautiful Bankers Life Fieldhouse, NBA betting is another vast market for sports bettors in Indiana. The Pacers won the NBA Eastern Conference Championship in 2000, and they hold nine division titles. Six NBA Hall of Famers played with the Pacers for multiple seasons. The list includes Reggie Miller, Chris Mullin, Alex English, and Roger Brown.

Sports betting apps in Indiana allow you to get even more involved in basketball action, from simple moneyline and over/under wagers to exciting live betting, proposition bets, and everything in-between!

Indiana NHL Betting

Even though there’s no professional NHL team in the state, hockey is still a big attraction in Indiana’s legal sports betting market. Bettors focus most of their attention on a trio of professional teams in neighboring states:

Indiana’s licensed sports betting apps allow you to place all types of wagers on the regular NHL season, playoffs, and the Stanley Cup. Whichever team you’re backing on the ice, there are always exciting wagers you’ll find on IN sportsbooks.

Indiana Baseball Betting

Indiana does not have an MLB team, but baseball betting is still huge in the state. Many Indiana baseball fans support teams from nearby states like the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs. And many local baseball fans also follow and place bets on Minor League’s Indianapolis Indians

IN College & High School Betting

Indiana allows betting on college games. This means that Indiana sportsbooks offer betting options on Notre Dame, Indiana University, and more college teams across football, basketball, and other sports.

You are not allowed to bet on high school sports in the US, and Indiana does not have an exception to that rule.

The Dan Dakich Story: Betting On College Sports In Indiana

Betting on college and major league sports in Indiana can be fun and exciting, but there’s also a lesson to be learned about responsible gambling. Dan Dakich is a former Indiana University basketball player and was the head coach for IU and Bowling Green, Ohio. He is now a basketball analyst and talk-show host at Indianapolis Sports Radio, making him a famous sports personality in Indiana and beyond.

Recently, Dakich said that he lost money betting on NCAA basketball. He didn’t disclose how much he lost or where he placed bets. But Dakich told media that his bets and losses on the NCAA March Madness tournament made him rethink his money and success. To teach himself a lesson, he woke up the next morning at 5:30 am and went to apply for a $25/hour part-time job delivering food for GrubHub.

Dan Dakich said that it was money he could afford to lose and that he didn’t have to go and deliver food, but he wanted to do it. “I come from iron and steelworkers, teachers, and I lost sight of the value of a dollar,” he said in an interview. And so, Dakich became one of Indiana’s most famous delivery boys.

Dakich did it to raise awareness, so whether you are betting in Indiana or in another state, take his advice: always gamble responsibly and never bet on money that you can’t afford to lose. That way, you can keep coming back to enjoy legal Indiana sports betting apps.

Indiana Major Sports Partnerships

Many betting operators are signing partnerships with major sports leagues and teams to get noticed and capture market share. It helps both teams and bookies to increase brand awareness among sports fans, get customers more engaged with the sport, and boost popularity.

With only two of the big four major sports leagues represented in Indiana, there are fewer partnerships than in other states where sports betting is legal. Even so, we can still find some interesting partnerships at the national level:

  • The NFL, home to the Indianapolis Colts that play in the AFC South division, picked Caesars, DraftKings, and FanDuel for its first round of partnerships with legal sportsbooks in the US.
  • The NBA, where the Indianapolis Pacers compete, signed partnerships with William Hill and DraftKings to become the league’s authorized betting operators.

Indiana Sports Betting Bonuses

As the betting market in the state becomes more competitive, Indiana sportsbook apps offer generous bonuses and promotions. These help to bring in new customers while rewarding existing players for their loyalty. It is great news for Indiana sports fans interested in betting, as they can quickly boost their bankroll by claiming on these offers.

However, sportsbook bonuses are not all straightforward, and many different promotions are available. Sportsbook promotions still make for a more exciting experience for bettors, but players need to understand the basics before claiming an offer. Here’s a look at the most common promotions offered by Indiana sportsbooks:

  • Sign-up Bonus: New users can claim these bonuses by simply registering for an account at an online sportsbook. They are often credited as free bets.
  • Welcome Offers: When a new player deposits money into their account, most sportsbook apps in Indiana offer welcome bonuses. These will usually be a deposit match bonus or a first bet rebate. Welcome offers are available to new players only. Because of this, you can only claim them once.
  • Deposit Match Bonus: As the name suggests, the operator will match the value of your deposit with bonus money up to a certain amount.
  • First Bet Rebate: With this promotion, the sportsbook operator will cover your losing bets up to a certain amount. First bet rebates are promotions that are usually tied to certain sporting events.
  • Parlay Insurance: Several wagers go into parlay bets, and you’ll need all the bets to win in order to get paid. If one of your parlay wagers loses, sportsbooks offering parlay insurance will refund your stake.
  • Odds Boost: Indiana sportsbooks will increase the odds for certain sporting events. Odds boosts always move in favor of the bettor, allowing you to get a better payout.
  • Loyalty Rewards Programs: Most sportsbooks will award bettors with loyalty points for each dollar they wager. You can then redeem these points for free bets, cash prizes, or other bonuses.

Indiana Sports Betting Safety & Trustworthiness

When betting online in Indiana, it is essential to only play on safe apps that are licensed by the state. If you choose an offshore bookmaker that operates illegally, you could be putting your money and personal and financial information at risk.

Thankfully IN has a regulated industry, so you can bet with peace of mind, knowing you are in safe hands. All of the Indiana sportsbooks we recommend are licensed and regulated by the Indiana Gaming Commission. This regulatory body only gives licenses to operators that comply with strict criteria. In addition to the licensing application process, all Indiana sportsbooks must go through regular audits to guarantee their standards remain high.

Payouts are also secure as all player funds are ring-fenced into a separate account from the operator’s financial assets. To ensure that you are always paid your winnings on time, each sportsbook operator in the state must partner with a commercial land-based casino, as you can visit the venue and collect your winnings in person. Also, playing at any legal site guarantees you will receive legal protection if you run into any issues.

Legal Sports Betting In Michigan

In 2018, the US Supreme Court deemed the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) unconstitutional. This paved the way for each US state to launch its regulated gaming industry. Shortly thereafter, MI passed a bill legalizing Michigan online gambling (HB 4311). The bill legalized online casino and poker sites on top of mobile sportsbook apps.

In-person sports wagering opened in March 2020. Because of regulatory hurdles, it took over a year for the online industry to launch remote betting sites and mobile apps.

Legal sports betting finally began in January 2021 with one of the most promising launches in US history. 10 Michigan sportsbook apps partnered with land-based casinos and launched in the Great Lakes State on the same day. Since then, more sportsbook app operators have received a license from the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) and joined the industry.

Michigan betting is thriving at the moment, and bettors have many choices of sportsbooks. In order to use these sports betting apps, you must be over the age of 21 while located within the state.

However, optimized features shine throughout the mobile site: think stacked menus, thumb-friendly keys, and reduced graphics to fit different screen sizes.

Most Michigan sports betting operators offer downloadable sports betting apps. For anyone looking to play on mobile, the sports betting apps in MI make for a better user experience.

They diminish the need to use a browser, making it easier to place bets. On top of that, apps offer the following upgrades:

  • complete mobile experience with easy navigation
  • faster connections
  • ability to turn on push notifications

The last one is important, so you never miss out on a big event or promotion again. If your device has enough free memory, we recommend downloading your sportsbook app of choice.

Downloading Michigan sportsbook apps is easy. You can find most of them by searching the App Store or Google Play for iOS and Android devices. However, newer apps may require a direct download from the sportsbook’s website. When accessing a sportsbook via a mobile browser, most will prompt you to download the app. If not, you can typically find links towards the bottom of the sportsbook’s website.

Better yet, our offers page will have links to all the best sportsbook apps available in Michigan. We organized them in one place to compare these sportsbooks side-by-side. As a result, you should be able to find the right sportsbook app for your needs.

Betting On Michigan Sports

You will find a selection of bets on popular leagues (NFL, NBA, NCAA, and NHL) as well as international sports like the English Premier Soccer League. Smaller leagues (CFL, KBO) and international events (soccer, AFL) are also available.

Do you love betting on niche sports? Fear not! They also have in-depth coverage with odds on everything from golf and boxing to motorsports and rugby.

Michigan NFL Betting

With Michigan being the home of the Detroit Lions, it’s no surprise the NFL is one of the most popular sports to wager on. Using MI sports betting apps, there are many ways to get involved in the action.

You can place all regular bets on season games and the Super Bowl, besides live betting as the games unfold. There are also some great NFL futures bets, such as the winner of the Super Bowl and the Conference Championships.

Michigan NBA Betting

There is also a large NBA fan base in Michigan, with the Detroit Pistons calling Little Caesars Arena home. Admired by many for their hard-nosed gameplay, the Pistons have won three NBA championships: 1989, 1990, and 2004.

They’re due for another championship soon! From moneylines and totals to proposition bets, there’s plenty of ways to enjoy NBA betting using the sports betting apps in Michigan.

Michigan NHL Betting

The NHL is another popular league to bet on using Michigan sportsbook apps. This is thanks to yet another professional team based in Detroit, the Detroit Red Wings, which have a huge following in the state.

As one of the oldest teams in the NHL, it’s no surprise that fans want to get behind the action. Winning 11 Stanley Cup Finals doesn’t hurt either. From how left-wing Tyler Bertuzzi will perform in the next game (player prop) to the winner of the Stanley Cup (futures), there’s plenty of NHL betting options at your fingertips.

Michigan College & High School Betting

Unlike nearby states, you can bet on college sports via MI sportsbook apps. This is great news for followers of the Michigan Wolverines, one of the richest NCAA programs, who are looking to get in on the action. There are also betting options for local NCAA teams like Michigan State, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Eastern Michigan, and others.

However, it’s forbidden to bet on high school teams. That law expands beyond Michigan while spanning the entire country.

Michigan Major Sports Partnerships

As more sports betting apps in Michigan are entering the market, operators are striking deals with major sports leagues and local stadiums. This helps them gain popularity amongst fans and raise awareness of their offerings.

Here’s a list of the current sportsbook partnerships between online operators and major US leagues:

Of all these deals, the most famous partnership is between the Detroit Tigers and PointsBet. The Tigers made history with this deal, becoming the first-ever official MLB franchise with a sportsbook partner.

PointsBet is trying to capitalize on the Michigan betting market. The MI sportsbook app has secured partnerships with three of Michigan’s four major league teams, as has rival BetMGM.

Sports Betting Bonuses Available In Michigan

As the industry becomes more competitive, Michigan sportsbooks are offering more lucrative bonuses to win new customers and keep existing ones. For any savvy bettor, this is great news!

However, the sheer number of offers can overwhelm beginners at first. Here’s a quick look at the best promotions you’ll see across MI sportsbook apps:

  • No Deposit Bonus: This is also called a sign-up bonus. You can claim these offers by simply creating an account. There’s no need to deposit funds in order to claim this bonus.
  • Deposit Match Bonus: These promotions are some of the most common welcome offers. When depositing money, the sportsbook will match a percentage of your deposit up to a certain amount. Some offer upwards of 200%!
  • First Bet Rebate: Another popular promotion is first bet rebate. Here’s how it works: Place a wager online. If the bet wins, you receive the money from that bet. If the bet loses, you’ll receive a refund.
  • Parlay Insurance: If one of your picks doesn’t come through when placing a parlay bet, the sportsbook will cover your losses.
  • Odds Boost: The sportsbook will improve odds on specific markets, giving you a better chance of winning.
  • Loyalty Rewards Program: Be rewarded for the amount of money you spend on the site. Loyal members receive access to special bonuses, prize draws, and competitions. The more you play, the better the offers available to you.
  • Overtime Insurance: In addition to many standard bonus offers, MI sportsbook apps (such as BetMGM) introduced a unique overtime insurance promotion. Here’s how it works: if the team you backed losses in overtime (as opposed to losing in regulation), the sportsbook will refund your stake. This usually comes in the form of free bets or bonus funds.

Overtime insurance has been popular in Michigan with NHL and NBA postseason games. If you are a Detroit Red Wings fan, you will love this promotion. Due to the nature of the sport, many NHL playoff games end up in overtime. That’s where this promotion comes in handy. Check out our offer pages for the most interesting bonuses and promotions.

Michigan Sports Betting Safety & Trustworthiness

Whenever you’re spending money online, it’s essential you only play on licensed betting sites. Sportsbooks take hold of your personal and financial information, and you’re trusting them with your hard-earned cash. Thankfully, every website we feature on our site is legitimate, trustworthy, and safe.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board oversees all MI sports betting apps, so you can trust that you’re in safe hands. The MGCB is the state’s regulatory body, and it runs comprehensive checks on all MI sports betting operators before awarding licenses. It also audits all the online sportsbooks regularly, monitoring transactions to ensure your information is protected.

Take comfort in the fact that you’ll receive prompt payouts without issues. All player funds are ring-fenced into an account to segregate players’ winnings from the companies’ financial assets. This way, there is no chance your winnings aren’t accounted for. If you ever experience issues with payouts, the state government will offer legal support.

With all Michigan sportsbook apps being linked to a tribal or commercial land-based casino property, this also adds an element of security. If living locally, you can easily visit the casino in person if you have any issues or get cash out directly from the casino cage.
